We are a support group for the loss of your child in Rhode Island.

The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families in the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child and to provide information to help others be supportive.

The Compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization which offers friendship and understanding to families who are grieving the death of a child of any age, from any cause.

There is no religious affiliation. There are no membership fees or dues, and all bereaved family members are welcome.

The secret of TCF's success is simple: As seasoned grievers reach out to the newly bereaved, energy that has been directed inward begins to flow outward and both are helped to heal.

Candle Lighting

I want to thank everyone for making our Annual Candle Lighting a great success on December 11th. In attendance was 180 parents, family and friends.
We want to thank the Capasso Family, Whitefield, and Barbosa Families for their donation to this event.

Tom Roy our pianist and vocalist was amazing. Also, a special thank you to Becky Sheldon...for putting on the slide presentation of our children.

We want to thank all our families for sharing their children with us during the Holiday Season. We hope the candle lighting will bring some comfort during this time of year.
